Budgeting for the New Year

It is that time of year when many are going through the annual budgeting process. Looking at past performances and trying to forecast what the coming year may look like. And during this, we are constantly looking at the bottom line.

I wonder how many have considered looking at this process in a different manner. Rather than budgeting to the financial line item, make it actionable. Identifying the performance drivers and how to enhance them will yield better outcomes.

How about inviting in the vendor and having a conversation on how to work together for improvement. There are many ways to make improvements without sacrificing service and quality. And any true partner should be willing to bring value add to their client.

Linked Here is an article that provides other good budgeting points. And maybe, as the article suggests, move toward a perpetual budgeting process… lots to consider.

I would welcome the opportunity to meet with you personally and have that conversation.
Call me and let’s set up a meeting.
